COVID-19 Safety

There’s a lot of information in this guide that we’ve put together for you. While all of it is important, here are some of the key takeaways that we really want to highlight:
  1. If you feel sick, stay home.
  2. If you don’t feel comfortable coming back to the club just yet, contact our membership department, and we’ll talk through your options with you.
  3. There is a screening process for each person entering  our clubs.
  4. Masks are required.
  5. Practice social distancing at all times.
  6. 24-hour access remains temporarily closed (Bridgeton only).
  7. Babysitting services are available by appointment only. Reservations are required. Time limit 1 hour.
  8. Class sizes will be reduced & reservations are required for all classes.
  9. Some equipment will be unavailable due to social distancing requirements.
  10. Members will have to check in and out with their key tags.
  11. Some areas may be closed during the day for disinfecting purposes.
  12. Massage services will resume by appointment only and require a mask.

When You Arrive

Checking in to the facility is going to be a little different from what you’ve experienced in the past and may take a few extra minutes. In addition to checking in with your membership key tag, you’ll be asked to:
  • Verbally respond to a brief health questionnaire
  • Conduct a temperature check using a touchless infrared thermometer
  • Wear a mask. Please note that this is required. No one will be allowed to enter the building without a mask on.
What Questions are Asked on the Health Questionnaire?
We’ll keep this as quick and simple as possible. We’ll verbally ask the following:
  • How are you feeling (do you have a cough, sore throat, chills, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea)?
  • Do you have a fever of 100 degrees F or greater (verify through temperature check)?
  • Have you traveled to any of the restricted states?
Then, if you’re wearing your mask and register a temperature less than 100.0° F, you’ll be all set to enter the building.

Cleanliness and Sanitizing

Cleanliness and sanitation have always been important to us, and that’s true now more than ever. We want you to know the steps we take to thoroughly clean and sanitize our facilities for you:
  • Each night after we close, a thorough deep clean is conducted in the building.
  • We’ve added a powerful disinfecting fogger system to our nightly cleaning routine that disperses ultra-low volume  particles that sanitize all indoor areas and surfaces.
  • Sanitizing stations are on all fitness floors. Members must wipe down equipment before and after use.
  • Hand sanitizing station are provided for personal use.
  • We’ve added additional cleaning shifts throughout the day in the club to wipe down high touch point areas.
Keeping one another safe is a shared responsibility. We now  require as a condition of membership that members wipe down equipment before and after use. Working together, we can all do our part to protect one  another at the club. Thank you for taking that extra  moment to wipe down any equipment you use!

Reducing Touch Points

Some parts of our clubs, and some services, will be closed when we first re-open, to minimize touch points and reduce exposure.
  • We have removed all mats from the fitness floor and  encourage members to bring their own.
  • We have removed most tables & chairs from our lobby areas.
  • The use of showers, saunas and steam rooms is currently not permitted.
  • Basketball is temporarily suspended.

Locker Rooms

Locker rooms remain open but will be limited to hand washing and restroom use only. Use of the saunas and steam rooms are not permitted at this time. Please remember to social distance yourselves and wear your masks while in the locker rooms.

Fitness Floor

The fitness floor – where all the fun happens! We’ve made several changes that we want to share with you:
  • We ask that members limit their time on the cardiovascular machines to 30 minutes at peak times when others may be waiting.
  • Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer is available through-out the facility.
  • While we’ve always appreciated members who wipe down the equipment after they’ve used it, please note that this is now a requirement of membership to wipe down equipment before and after use.
  • Twenty-four-hour access is currently unavailable. (Bridgeton Only)
  • We have re-arranged equipment to make it more conducive to social distancing standards.
  • In some instances, we have turned off pieces of equipment to allow for more space between exercisers.

Fitness Floor Group Exercise Classes

Our classes are some of the most popular programs we offer, and our instructors are eager to welcome every-one back! In order to facilitate social distancing in these environments, we are implementing the following:
  • Smaller class sizes
  • More class duplication on the schedule
  • Social distancing markers on the studio floors
  • Some class times have been spaced to reduce traffic in and out of the studios to maintain social distancing and allow for additional cleaning time between classes
  • We have posted signage outside each studio space identifying how many people are safely allowed into that space.

Child Care

We know how important our babysitting services are to so many of the families we serve. Babysitting services are available by appointment only and set to a one-hour time limit. Please call the front desk to schedule an  appointment time.
