Different types of massage are used for a variety of health-related purposes. All of our therapists are licensed to meet your needs.

Which massage style best fits your needs and wants?

Swedish: by relieving muscle tension you can become both relaxed and energized.

Sports: geared towards participants in sports or someone who is actively working out. It is used to help prevent injuries, prepare the body for athletic activity, maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

Therapeutic: can be medically based, such as relieving arthritis discomfort or injury recovery. Usually you feel invigorated, but may be sore the next day.

Prenatal: is a gentle, nurturing massage for the pregnant woman. This can help alleviate lower back pain during pregnancy. For those in later months, lying on your side on the table is the natural position for massage.

Deep Tissue: is often used to break up the knots in the deep layers of the muscles. This can be painful; please let your massage therapist know if the pressure is too much for you.

Selective: is a focused massage for specific areas of the body.  An example would be a massage of the neck, shoulders, and back.

Reflexology: fully clothed massage focusing on hands, feet and face to clear the blockages in the body.
